Mom's Coffee Shop is open on dark, rainy, cloudy afternoons when school is done and we've not much else to do, and something hot and yummy sounds really good and comforting, and besides we need some cheering up because it's been so dark, rainy, and cloudy just about everyday for the past couple of months. So come on down and buy yourself some Hot Cocoa or Favorite Tea (a.k.a. Oregon Chai), and some cookies. Whipped cream is extra, of course, but it's O.K. because you don't even need your own money. Just grab some from the glass jar and make sure you count it out exactly because mom don't give no change. If you're an adult you get a home made mocha free of charge! There are instrumental hymns playing from an i-pad in the background while candles flicker out a serene, calming atmosphere. Five and Eight year old boys love it at Mom's Coffee Shop, but I suspect the one who loves Mom's Coffee Shop the most is, well... Mom!
